The exhibition, organized by Lisbon City Hall in partnership with the National Sports Museum - IPDJ, portrayed a story that featured the Tagus river estuary, a navigation space shared by large cargo and passenger ships, ferryboats and port activities and , also, nautical sports and leisure.
In the exhibition, this history was illustrated through some relevant moments in the history of sailing, rowing and swimming, in the context and particular conditions of the Tagus estuary in Lisbon, from the mid-19th century to the present day.
